Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Nevora Ecovolt Private Limited collects, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can require us to do with it. It covers this website, its free tools, and the enquiry, assessment, nomination, document-request and job-application forms on it.
We are the data fiduciary for that information, which means we are accountable for it even where a supplier processes it on our behalf.

2. What we collect, and why
We only collect what a given interaction needs.
| When you | We collect | So that we can |
|---|---|---|
| Request a site visit or builder consultation | Name, phone number, email address, society or project name, project stage, approximate bay count | Respond, arrange a survey, and prepare a proposal |
| Request a brochure or document | Name, phone number, email address, and which documents you asked for | Send the documents and follow up once |
| Ask for the fuller read on the Risk Factor Assessor | Name, email address, phone number, society or apartment name, area (optional), and your six answers: when the building was completed, how often the power goes, number of homes, electric cars and two-wheelers, and how residents charge today | Show you the read, record your request, and have our team call you to talk it through. Your answers and the read are sent to our team with your details |
| Nominate your society on “Can I charge at my society?” | Name, email address, phone number, society or apartment name, and your four answers: where you park overnight, whether anyone is charging already, where your committee stands, and roughly how big the society is | Prepare the committee brief for you to pass on. We do not approach your committee unless you ask us to |
| Apply for a role | Name, email address, phone number, role applied for, portfolio or LinkedIn link (optional), covering notes (optional), and your CV — uploaded, or as a link | Assess your application and contact you about it |
| Use a tool without submitting your details | Nothing. The running-cost calculator, the comparison, and the answers you give in any tool stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to us unless you choose to submit your details | — |
| Simply visit the site | Standard server and security logs, including IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested | Keep the site available and investigate abuse |
We do not collect payment details through this website, we do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not sell or rent yours to anyone.
3. Your consent, and withdrawing it
We process the data above because you gave it to us for a stated purpose, and we use it only for that purpose. Where we later want to use it for something else, we will ask first.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal takes effect from the point we act on it; it does not undo processing already carried out lawfully. If withdrawing consent means we can no longer answer an enquiry or assess an application, we will tell you.
4. Who else handles your data
We use the suppliers below to run this website and our correspondence. They act on our instructions, and we remain accountable for what they do with your data. This list is maintained rather than decorative — if it changes, this page changes.
| Supplier | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Workspace, Apps Script, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) | Receiving and storing enquiry and application data, storing uploaded CVs, and sending confirmation email. | India and other countries where Google operates |
| Vercel | Serves the website. When you submit the Risk Factor Assessor, your answers and contact details pass through a Vercel server function on their way to Google and are not stored there; to stop repeated automated submissions, that function keeps your IP address in memory for up to an hour. Otherwise Vercel sees only the request logs that any web host keeps, including IP address. | Global edge network; the serving location varies by request |
| Cloudflare | Routes traffic to the website and filters malicious requests. Like Vercel it stores none of your enquiry data, and sees only connection details such as IP address. | Global edge network |
| Cloudinary | Hosts images used on the website and in our email. No personal data. | Global edge network |
| Meta (WhatsApp) | Only where you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Messages you send there are handled under WhatsApp's own terms, not ours. | Global |
Because these are international services, your data may be processed outside India. We do not transfer personal data to any territory that the Central Government has restricted for that purpose.
5. How long we keep it
We delete personal data once the purpose it was collected for has been served. In practice that means:
| Category | Retained for | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Site-visit, builder and Risk Factor Assessor enquiries, and society nominations | 24 months from our last contact with you | A society's decision cycle runs across annual general meetings, so an enquiry can legitimately reopen a year or more later. |
| Brochure and document requests | 24 months from the request | Same cycle, and it lets us avoid sending you the same document twice. |
| Job applications — unsuccessful | 6 months from the decision, then deleted, CV included | Long enough to consider you for a role that opens shortly afterwards; short enough that we are not holding CVs indefinitely. |
| Job applications — successful | Duration of employment, plus the period required by employment and tax law | Statutory record-keeping. |
| Survey, design and installation records for a project | Duration of the contract, plus 8 financial years | Electrical installation records must be available for the life of the asset, and company law requires books to be preserved for eight financial years. |
| Website and server logs | 180 days | Security monitoring and incident investigation. |
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold data about you, and give you a summary of it;
- correct anything inaccurate, complete anything incomplete, or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for and no law requires us to keep it;
- tell you who we have shared it with;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.
Write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first, so that we are not disclosing your data to someone else.
7. Grievance Officer
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:
| Name | Elvis J George |
| Designation | Director |
| [email protected] | |
| Post | #198, CMH Road, Suite 3679IndiranagarBengaluru 560038, Karnataka, India |
We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month. Where something will take longer, we will tell you why and when to expect an answer.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Exhausting our process first is expected before the Board takes up a complaint.
8. How we protect it
Access to enquiry and application data is limited to the people at Nevora who need it. Accounts holding that data use two-factor authentication. Uploaded CVs are stored privately and are not shared by link. Data in transit to and from this website is encrypted.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required, with what happened, what data was involved and what we are doing about it.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults acting for a housing society, a development project, or themselves as a job applicant. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and we do not use personal data for behavioural advertising or tracking of children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top always reflects the last substantive revision. Where a change materially affects how we handle data you have already given us, we will contact you rather than relying on you noticing.
12. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. The dispute clause in our Terms of Use sets out how disputes are resolved, including the position for consumers.
