Delete your Nevora account
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This page is how to delete an account in the Nevora app, what happens when you do, and what we keep. It is the page Google Play and the App Store link to for account deletion. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy, §8 and §9.
1. In the app — the quickest way
- Open the Nevora app and sign in.
- Go to Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account.
- Read what will happen. If a charge is in progress, stop it first — an account cannot be deleted in the middle of a charge.
- Tap Send code. We send a 6-digit code to the mobile number on your account.
- Enter the code, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.
You are signed out of every device straight away.
2. Without the app
Email our Grievance Officer (see §13 of the Privacy Policy) from the email or mobile number on your account, or write to us, asking us to delete it. We acknowledge within 48 hours and act within one month. We send a one-time code to the mobile number on the account and ask you to read it back to us, so that nobody else can delete your account. Everything below then happens exactly as if you had deleted it in the app, including the 90 days in which you can restore it.
3. What happens, and when
At once:
- you are signed out on every device;
- you leave your community — joining again needs your RWA's approval;
- your upcoming bookings are cancelled;
- your access to your charger is removed.
After 90 days, we erase your name, mobile number, email, flat number and vehicle registration. Until then you can undo the deletion: sign in with the same number and choose Restore my account. After that, the same number can sign up again as a new account.
4. What we keep, and why
| Kept | For how long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Records of the charging you did (when, how much energy, how it ended), and any payments | Up to 8 years | Indian company and tax law require books of account. They are kept without your name or number |
| Vehicle make, model and battery size | With those records | They are part of how each charge was run; the registration number is erased |
| The safety record of the installation, and the audit log of staff and committee actions | Permanently | They cannot be edited by anyone. They hold account identifiers, never your name or number |
If you have a credit balance when you delete, it stays with your account for the 90 days — if you restore the account, it is all still there. When the 90 days end, we check it — approved within 3 working days — and pay it within 10 days of approval, to the payment method it came from or, where the bank will no longer take it back, to a bank account in your own name (Refund Policy §4–§5). Money you paid over the wallet limit that is already being refunded to where it came from keeps being refunded after your account is deleted. If you owe anything, the app asks you to settle it before the account can be deleted.
